How does Above Lending collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you
  • apply for a loan or give us your income information;
  • give us your contact information or show your government-issued ID; or
  • provide employment information
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can't I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only
  • sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes-information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else? Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.
Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
Our affiliates include financial companies such as Beyond Finance, LLC and KCK FS Investments, LLC; non-financial companies like parent holding companies and indirect parent entity.
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
Non-affiliates we share with can include lenders, lending networks, financial institutions, service providers, direct marketing companies and other financial product and service providers
Joint marketing A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
Our joint marketing partners include lenders, lending networks, financial institutions, service providers, direct marketing companies and other financial product and service providers.

California Residents: We do not sell personal information under California law. We will not share your non-public information with nonaffiliates for their marketing purposes except with your express consent or as otherwise authorized by California law. We will not disclose personal and financial information about you with companies we own or control (affiliates) or with companies we do business with to provide financial products and services (joint marketing partners) if you instruct us not to do so by following the instructions at (800) 201-2295 which contain additional choices for California residents. Vermont Residents: We will not share information we collect about you with nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by Vermont law, such as to process your transactions or to maintain your account. We will not share information about your creditworthiness with our affiliates except with your authorization or as required or permitted by law. We may share information about our transactions or experiences with you within our corporate family without your consent
